Paphiopedilum acmodontum
Paphiopedilum acmodontum or the pointed tooth paphiopedilum is a terrestrial type of orchid found in the subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. It prefers mid-shaded habitats. The leaves of this species are mottled pale and dark green usually up to 18 cm long and 4 cm wide. It has only one flower up to 35 cm long, green color with purple-spotting and sparsely pubescent. This species is endemic only in the Philippines particularly in the Negros Island in the Visayas area. In MHRWS, P. acmodontum is found in the montane forest. They are commonly seen anchored on the ground in the dry area of soil.
