About the Species:
Brachymeles taylori or the Taylor’s Short-legged Skink is a family of lizards which is also morphologically similar to Brachymeles boulengeri but has slight differences: B. taylori has a plain, glossy and smooth brown-black body and a longer tail. This is endemic in the Philippines particularly in Panay, Negros, Cebu and Siquijor islands. In MHRWS, this species is usually seen in leaf litters ion the ground.
