About the Species:
This species of bulbul occurs in a wide range across the country hence Poliolophus urostictus is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN. Yellow-Wattled Bulbul is very noticeable because of its greyish crown and yellow wattle in the eyes. It is usually found from secondary growth and forest edge below 1000 meters above sea level. In Mount Hamiguitan Range, it is found in lowland secondary up to montane forest.
