About the Species:
Found only in Philippine forest, Pachycephala philippinensis, is characterized with its whitish throat and yellowish breast, belly, and under tail coverts. This medium size whistler is relatively common in all forest levels from lower to higher elevations. In Mount Hamiguitan Range, this was found in secondary lowland up to montane forest.
