About the Species:
Hypsipetes philippinus is generally one of the most common bulbul within Philippine forests. It is noisy and conspicuous in canopy and understory either singly, in group or in mixed flocks. It exists in a wide range across different habitat types, from forest edge in lowland to montane forests in high elevation in Mount Hamiguitan Range. Currently, it is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
