About the Species:
H. fisheri or Philippine Pygmy Fruit Bat is a megabat species characterized by having a large round eyes, darker brown head, no tail, has thumb, and has canella brown collar. This species is endemic in the Philippines which is commonly found in lowland and montane, primary and secondary habitats, including mossy forests and mixed agricultural habitats and second-growth forests. In MHRWS, this species is found from lowland to montane forests.
